I had the honor this week of being a guest blogger for them. One of the challenges of adoption is the extreme situations of “waiting”. It is a challenge that feels almost unbearable at times, but God is a might God and is bigger than any wait we may encounter. He has a plan. Can I ask you, though, to please not lose hope? Stand firm. Hold your ground. Let the enemy advance no more. And know that he may win a few battles here and there, but the war was won long ago when Christ went to the cross. He is the victor and in Him, we are, too. Say to yourself, “No weapon forged against me shall prevail. I will refute every tongue that accuses me. This is my heritage from the Lord” (Isaiah 54:17)

But, I’ll be real. I am struggling to find that place. There are moments I think I have it. Even days. But in complete honesty, more often than not I do not have that reconciliation. My hope and my acceptance are butting heads and peace is not resting in my heart.
Can you relate? Is this your morning, or evening…or life? Sometimes it feels hopeless. But it is not. There is hope.
Today was a day of trials. One after the other. And they left my sensitive soul fall prey to the whispers of the enemy. The kinds of whispers he loves to taunt Mamas with because he knows it cuts deep.
