Recharging at the Beach

“The three great elemental sounds in nature are the sound of rain, the sound of wind in a primeval wood, and the sound of outer ocean on a beach.”

—Henry Beston,

Is there anywhere more beautiful than the beach? To me? Not a chance.

We are here. I’m not just inhaling, but long deep exhales, too. I’m so thankful for this time to recharge so I’m going to soak it all in and take a little break, but I’ll be back next week recharged and full of new creativity! For now, though, I just can’t leave you without some of God’s marvelous handiwork! Because, well, because there is just no one else like Him!

His peace.

The world slows down to the rhythmic pattern of His waves.01d4b041493fe73a9ef5d858e0488056504bbd9eb7

With the sand beneath my toes.

Sunsets bringing each day to a close.

His beauty is so prevalent here. It never gets old. I’m humbled by His greatness and undeniably aware of His presence and power.

    1. Hi Mary,
I’m so glad you stopped by! I’m home and hit the ground running and trying to figure out how we could all just stay at the beach, like … FOREVER! Sigh. Maybe God will have a retirement plan for me on a beach somewhere 🙂 For now, I’m holding tight to the memories He gave me while I was there! Have a wonderful week!
