11 True Stories of Redeeming Love: When You Need More Than the World Can Give

The world cannot give us all that we need. Our hearts are made for more. Here are 11 true stories of redeeming love.

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day. The day known for love. And yesterday concluded my 21-day challenge to you. My prayer is that as you entered yesterday, either relishing the opportunity to share a little extra love or dreading every moment as it prodded at a tender place in your spirit, somewhere within your heart you sensed the radically different love of Christ.

His redeeming love.

I pray that as you kept each of the 21 scriptures in your thoughts and on your lips (you can print the cards in the link near the end of the post!) His deep love for you began to sink in. That you delighted in His love. And that you faced the self-defeating thoughts as a warrior with the weapon of God’s Word!

This week, I wanted to leave you with so much more … Not just my thoughts and experiences, but real stories of real people who have experienced this radically different love! These stories come from the heart. Some get raw. And some will hit nerves.

But all are beautiful because they were inspired by the Author of all words and of all our stories.

Your story is beautiful.Share yours and be blessed by others! #redeeminglove #bgbg2 Click To Tweet

Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story … Psalm 107:2 NIV

Enjoy this round-up of posts! Let these words sink into your hearts and work as a conduit of God’s love. It would bless these sweet story tellers so much if you would take a moment to comment or share their stories!

  10. Lori, I really needed this this week. Things are so crazy, but the funny thing is God is still taking the time to show that He is here, He arranged a job so that we would have the money to pay for Levi’s rent at the home they made him move too, then someone from our church showed up with 10 huge bags of groceries. He will not let us fail. He knows that we are trusting Him. These stories keep me on the right track, make me continue to focus on the good. Thank you my friend. xx
